Websters Master Library
Before, I begin the next stage of my journey I though it would be useful to explain a couple of terms to beginners that are following my blogs. Unless i have otherwise specified the following descriptions are from the websters master library
I'm a website designer/developer student (still learning like everybody else). Here is a description of what a website designer is. Here is a description of what a web developer is. Since I started back in 2009 i have slowly gained knowledge in the field of webmastery. Find out what a webmaster is. I bought this bookset from a charity shop to investigate if there was 'merging of linguistics' because its useful to my studies regardless of the answer.
Although I've worked with JavaScripts in the grand scheme of things I'm still a beginner, that uses the works of others like Lego. This is partially because of project scales. Most webdesigners use this method when working alone, the same can be said about some programmers.
I'm starting a module in data analytics and data science because it helps with and ties together all my other projects and all my studies.
You might have observed that im starting a journey with python programming, something im familar with but have little experience in. The websters description
'programming'
the procedure involved in writing instructions that the computer will follow to perform a certain task. Programming is part art and part science. The process can be summerized as follows:
1. Decide on the purpose of the application
2. Collect and write down the importand ractors and variables, using flow charts to depict the decision process.
3. Translate the idea into a programming language.
4. Compile the program to convert it into machine language that is understood by the computer.
5. Test and eliminate errors from the program.
6. Over a period of time make adjustments to enhance the program.
I'm also using PHP and SQL / SQLite for web-based data utilisation.
This is and example of this posts flow, when i have more time i will build on this strand.
